It had been so dependable, I naturally looked for another inexpensive Timex watch to replace it.I chose this watch based on the fact that it is a reliable Timex, and the reviews were good. The watch works great but the dial, having the light colored background, is fairly hard to read. You really have to focus to see the hands. Still, I can't complain because overall it's a good watch that I purchased for a very low price. And as someone with small wrists, I often resort to having to wear children's watches, but this watch has enough holes in the band to fit even my small wrists. I was a bit hesitant to order it because purple isn't one of my favorite colors, but the color of this is so very light, almost a lilac blush. The watch itself is really nice looking. The face catches light, which adds a jewelry type effect to it. The minute and hour hands are very visible, as is the second hand. This one came with a rotating time ring around the face. I'm not sure that I would use it, but it is easy to move around if a person was going to use it, and it adds a nice touch to the look of the watch. The watch fits my medium size wrist with about an inch and a half to two inches of band left, so it seems like it would fit a larger wrist well. There are really no bells and whistles on this watch, but it is water resistant to far more water than I will ever subject it to, and the band is resin.
