I've never had one fail and would bet that if I put a battery in my first watch it would work. I have only worn this watch for a week, but I wanted to get this review on here to help others who were looking at it. This watch is a very good looking one suitable for many types of dress, from casual to suits. It has a nice weight to it, but not too heavy, and with the bracelet style band is very professional looking. The three dials in the middle make it a popular style these days and I'm sure it will get lots of compliments.Some points of interest: This watch does not have any kind of a lighting mechanism. Why you would make a watch without one I don't know, but they did, and is the reason I did not give the watch 5 stars (that and I don't know that I would pay $90 for it; I found it cheeper elsewhere). I like the fact that it has the 3 dials & the "current, before, & after dates" exposed. It's a unique watch. Good looking, simple to use. The carbon detailed watch face is neat-o too. He likes the solid feel of it, and the style. It is a little weird that what is usually the second hand is really the timer (the second hand is on a little dial on the bottom), but he kind of likes that, too.The only issue we had with it was trying to figure out how to size it to him. The little manual that comes with it does not give any information on how to remove extra links, and the pins are in there REALLY well. It was actually another review on Amazon that helped us figure it out and gave us the courage to whack the pins with a tiny nail and hammer until they came out enough to pull from the other side. But, we figure, if they're that difficult to remove, the rest of the watch is really well made and won't fall apart easily! |
