I like big watches so I was fine with that. This watch is beautiful, an amazing watch for the price. The only problem is that it just massive, thick and huge. My wrist is on the smaller side of average and this watch took up my entire wrist. I kept the watch for a few weeks hoping that it would shrink but it the end I had to send it back. If they ever make this watch in a 35mm size I will be first one to buy it. It compares very favorably to similar styles I have evaluated in retail stores for twice the price. It IS a very substantial piece of jewelry, but I like not only the size but the "heft" of the ceramic. I have fine bones and small wrists and I love the way the watch fits, stands out and makes a statement. It had plenty of play on the links so I took it to the same jeweler that performs all my repairs and cleaning and had two links removed, one from either side. Made it PERFECT! I couldn't be more pleased and can't wait to show off my fabulous birthday present! It is large and heavy, its actually what she wanted. She is very active and I haven't seen a scratch on it yet. It would fit a mans wrist fine, to give you some scale. We brought it to a jeweler and had 1 link taken out, it took him no less than 15 min to pop one link out, should have taken another out, but we didn't want to wait any more. It is beautiful and stands out. She's had people stop her in stores and in the streets asking her about it. The mother of pearl and roman numerals are a nice added touch and differentiates it from other watches. It is certainly worth the money. In fact, my mother loves the ceramic look and I will be getting her one for her birthday in November. |
