Getting started with a new exercise program and not very familiar with HR monitors in general.
I reviewed several, some with great reviews and others not so much, this did not have any so i admit the purchase was totally based on price.
What i have found so far; The location of the chest strap is important. The sensor should be directly over the heart to get the most accurate readings. I tried it placed in the middle if my chest with poor results. When placed over the heart the readings are close to the readings from my handheld tester which is accurate but not very convenient.
I am giving the watch five stars for comfort and convenience and easy start-up, and of course price.

So i had this set up in five minutes, i had to borrow my kids microscope to read the print but it worked out, actually that is the only thing that has given me trouble. it's been kickn' butt going on like 8 months now. i'm pretty dense with electro dillywhos and got this thing goin quick.

Great product and works as described. The sensors work great for about 2 hours with water only on the pads, and work even longer with the sensor gel. Thanks Pyle Sports for making good technology affordable.
