I looked at a lot of the Timex sport watches for women, and ordered a few. Let me start by saying that this watch looks like it has a really narrow band (and some of the Timex do have skinny rubber bands), but really, the band is a pretty normal width for this type--the watch face is oversize and just makes the band look skinny. The watch face is 1 1/2 inches wide, so not huge but biggish for a women's watch. The other Timex sport watches I ordered are closer to 1 1/4 inches wide.

However, the numbers are big and easy to read and the blueish plastic rim of the face looks nice, the way the face tapers into the band is nice, so the overall effect is attractive and I like it.

It looks like a bright sky blue, but really is more of a bright turquoise color. I think it is a bright and pretty watch, fun, and I look forward to wearing it to the gym and to work. It's nice to have a sport watch (with its higher resistance to wet) in such a fun color instead of black.
